…for example. These signals usually don’t occur in isolation (if they do you could misinterpret), but will be done together or one after the other, for instance fiddling with a bracelet and then touching her neck

Not all women are like this- maybe she’s just looking for a one-night-stand, or perhaps she’s just really airheaded. Some women will act more tough around the people they’re interested in, and not so much like the examples provided. Keep watch- maybe they act differently when they’re not near you!
Fiddling with jewelry. When a woman is around someone that she’s interested in, her heart beats faster. This makes her feel nervous excitement. As a sort of outlet for that tension, she’ll twist her rings, play with her earring, or tug at her necklace. She may also bounce her foot or leg to get rid of the extra energy.
So if you want to make a woman feel comfortable, try matching and mirroring some of her body language. Don’t make it too obvious and truth be told, if you genuinely feel a connection, you’ll do it without thinking about it.
Her head and torso are angled to face you. But one or both of her feet are angled away. The engagement is not complete and she may not be completely sure she wants to make close contact. As she is wavering but still looking in your direction, it might still be worth walking over to say, “Hi.”

“The fact that simple poses can have such an impact is extraordinary,” says Carney, now a professor in the business school at the University of California Berkeley. “They appear to flip some internal switch, making the world seem better, brighter, easier.” Although researchers don’t fully understand the psychological and biological processes at work, what’s clear, she says, is that the changes are internal. “It seems to be about how you present yourself to others. But it’s really about what’s going on inside you.”
To ensure that you can avoid these kinds of awkward and ridiculous cases from occurring on a large scale, I suggest you and other men reading this article and trying to learn how to read female body language and facial expressions that you should catch any chance you find out to right away approach the girl you want without hesitating just one second because women really hate men who do not know how to approach them properly and immediately. Also, my advice is that you need to focus on learning how to use your own body language to attract women properly as well as how to meet and approach females many environments with different cases and conditions.
Last week, relationship expert Bree Maresca-Kramer gave us some great tips on how to read guys’ body language. Now it’s time to give the boys a little insight into how we work. Sometimes a hair twirl is just a hair twirl, but it can mean so much more.
Pointing: As previously mentioned, our legs are the part of the body that is furthest away from the brain and therefore the area we are least aware of. When women or men feel interest in someone they will start pointing at them either with their feet (usually their lead walking foot or both) while standing, or their knee while sitting. How a persons shows interest in another when sitting down is achieved by tucking one leg under the other – the tucked-under-legs knee will be pointing towards the direction of the person they feel attracted to.

I come from Minnesota, where the state motto might as well be “I don’t want to impose,” but my issues go beyond that. I am deeply, painfully averse to inconveniencing others (even when it’s not actually my fault), and that includes any sort of confrontation, no matter how mild. In the most inconsequential interactions, I find myself doing linguistic gymnastics to avoid the slightest possibility of offending, as when a Staples clerk mistyped my phone number while searching for my “rewards” account recently and I helpfully offered, “The number must have become entered incorrectly somehow.” I wish I were kidding.
One thing to keep in mind when looking for changes in female body language is if a woman “freezes up”. This is a signal that shows discomfort, anxiety, or even insecurity. It’s also one that can be spotted on any part of a woman’s body. For example you may notice a woman playfully wiggling her feet under her chair – and then abruptly stop. Seeing this sudden change can let you know that something has made her uncomfortable.
We must also be careful of signals that are evolving during the development of a new relationship. A woman might initially be interested in a man and give off positive cues of attraction, but once communication is established, she could change her mind and so change her postures. The impressions we make on people are continuously changing and so is the body language that people are emitting. Therefore, we must be constantly measuring interest and disinterest. We also must watch for mixed signals.
Women will show their meekness and submissiveness by softening their voice and lowering their voice volume. However, when they become aroused, their voice volume will increase, they will speak faster and seem giddy, their thoughts will race, they may also show nervousness by stuttering or be at a loss for words and freeze up. A change in voice character can therefore be an indication of interest. Often, the voice increases in pitch and laughing takes place more readily and often in unison with the person they feel attraction towards. When laughing happens during more benign conversation and conversation is directed at the expense of involving others, it’s a signal that things are intensifying.
Wrist Display: There are certain vulnerable spots in our bodies due to their fragility or delicacy that we tend to protect: our neck, throat and wrist being some of them. Most people if you observe, usually walk with their wrists facing the sides of their body as a way of protection, however, if you observe some people with mental illnesses such as schizophrenia sufferers, they will walk with their palms and wrists facing backwards as an additional protection. Plenty of over-the-top gay men use the wrist display constantly even walking around with it as an attempt to look effeminate. When women are interested in men they will slowly start showing him glimpses of their wrists and the more they like them the longer the glimpses will last – this is why the wrist has always been considered a highly erotic area as women have more nerve receptors there making it more sensitive, which is where applying perfume on the wrists comes from. There are a variety of ways women choose to expose their wrists, from touching their wrists themselves (Touch Me, Myself & I technique), to putting their wrists on the table in front of a male, as well as the popular wrist exposure that comes with women smokers who do it quite obviously.
Look for mirrored movements. Often, a woman who is interested will subconsciously mirror your movements. This shows that the two of you are on the same wavelength and can thus increase intimacy in the relationship. That’s why dancing is considered intimate or sexy—it forces you to mirror each other’s movements!
The age-old question of determining whether a woman likes a man is one that has been asked since the beginning of time. Despite all this time, men still haven’t figured out when it’s okay to make a move and when they need to back off. A majority of the male population either makes a move too early or too late. Sure, there are some Alpha pros out there who are stars at the game but generally speaking, most men bugger it up.
Gracias Natalia, I’m happy you enjoyed the article and my quirky interpretation of it all. The unconscious world is full of mystery, so external manifestations of this intriguing instrument have always caught my curious. I’m excited to see I’m not alone 🙂
If you ever find yourself with a woman in this great case, I suggest you giving her a sexually charged compliment because this is actually one of the greatest and most ideal ways to give a woman’s sexual come-on a response.
The next time you’re flirting with a woman, pay close attention to what’s she’s doing with her lips. When a woman is attracted to a guy, she will usually smile and laugh much more frequently, regardless of whether the guy is actually funny or not. So if a girl always smiles when you look at her or if she slips in a little giggle whenever you start talking to her, this is a definite sign that she’s attracted to you.
Psychologists believe that people often transfer inner feelings to external objects. So by stroking the stem of a wine glass (for example) a woman is using female body language to say “stroke me”. By running her a pen across her lips she is saying “kiss me”. These female body language signals should not be confused with “agitation” gestures that indicate that the woman would rather be somewhere else. The difference is in the speed with which they are performed. Slow and sensual is good – fast and “jerky” is bad. Wine glasses, table ornaments, sun glasses and pens are common objects used for “toying”.
A follow-up study by Moore and Butler (1989) evaluated some of these behaviors more thoroughly. In this case, the researchers were interested in finding out which of these flirting and “solicitation” behaviors actually worked to get men to approach. The team again camped out in bars — this time observing the differences in behavior between single women who were approached by a man versus women who did not get approached.
Women do this flirty gesture as they gaze at men of interest. Instead of squaring themselves off and looking straight into his eyes, her body faces away and she looks over the shoulder which seductively teases him. This posture emphasizes the curviness of the shoulder and exposes the vulnerable neck.
Hair flipping, swishing, combing and general preening, plus a smile, are the main flirting feminine body language cues women use to get men’s attention. Other very effective feminine body language tactics are: walking with an exaggerated roll of hips, relaxed swinging arms, chest out, and head held high with a soft smile.
Mark made good progress in the initial weeks of our program, but the light came on after the “Become Women Fluent” class. He realized that in all his most frustrating situations, he had been waiting for the woman to initiate touch.
Next time you go out, try and pay more attention for signs of female attraction. What is she doing to signal her attraction to you? Nothing? Something? A lot of something? Knowing how to see signs of female attraction can do a lot to boost your confidence when it comes to talking to woman. Once you know the signs, you won’t ever have to guess again.
It is an age old question: How can I understand woman better? This question intrigues many and the answer eludes just the same. In most instances men are left scratching their heads in wonder, while waiting for the answer to drop out of mid-air. What if there was a book – a tool – to help us in answering some of these complex truths?
So far science hasn’t found conclusive evidence for pheromones but many scientists still think it a possibility and continue to investigate: http://www.psychologytoday.com/blog/love-science/201211/human-pheromones-fact-or-fantasy
She will tease you and get close enough that you’re almost touching, then pull away, highlighting the obvious void between you. She’ll also make an effort to sit or stand next to you and find little excuses to engage you in conversation so that she can get close.
